Week 2. Bettors vs. oddsmakers

Week 2 of the NFL is always interesting. The oddsmakers don't have much to go on except trends and situations and the public has only one thing to go on, just one lousy week. So the books look to find a balance but no matter what they do, the lines move out of control from Monday to Kickoff. That's of course, whats happening here. Most of the value is gone by now, but regardless, the bettors and public have no clue.
That's why you come here, to sift through the mess. TopBoss has friends in high places, therefore some very valuable info. While I can't reveal exactly what I know and how I know it, I'll can give you some other...well...let's just call 'em clues.
First up is the Dallas/San Fran game. This line started at Dal -3 and if you'll notice, hasn't even budged. There's a trend out there that says Dallas has won in this spot only twice in 23 chances or something like that (Whatever that spot is). That ain't good enough for TopBoss! While trends do have their place in wagering, TopBoss thinks it's giving us a deal here. Dallas is a good football team, has solid players at key positions and a good QB. San Fran is a team that is bare bones, looking to run plays that build Alex Smith's confidence, and possesses a defense that hopes to bend but not break. The team is being handled with kid gloves and a strict script. Look for Dallas to rip up that script early. TopBoss likes Dallas -3.
In the Buf/Oak game TopBoss likes the trend along with the week one performance, along with the home team. This Buffalo team is young and hungry, building off the second half of 2010, where they reeled of several respectable wins. Buffalo lost a lot of games early in 2010 and won a lot late. In all those games they competed for 4 quarters and that's all we can ask. The inside info in this game is that Oakland is has no idea the ambush they're about to face. TopBoss suggests Buffalo big.
Bal -4 vs. Tenn is a great bargain. When we look back on week 2 of 2011, we're gonna say, "Damn, I wish I could get Bal -4 again." Bal is a team that is Superbowl bound! You heard it here, probably not first but probably not as convincing.
If you really want some action on a great game like NE/SD, just take the total over 53.5 Both these offenses are too powerful to stop for long. Take it light, take it for fun. TopBoss has no special info here cuz it don't take a rocket scientist to see whats gonna happen.
Finally, TopBoss want's to emphasize the importance of bankrolls and bankroll management. Picking games is only part of winning, but just as important is discipline and good money management. Go to my prior blog regarding money management.
