Week 7 Let's Do This!

Hard to believe it's already week 7. We're hanging in there pretty good, all things considered. We had a couple weeks there where things just didn't break our way but here we are, week 7 and we're still in the plus column concerning our bankroll. TopBoss is playing it a little conservative this week as Vegas has caught up with the teams true identities, therefore it's getting harder and harder to find our edges. Most of the inside info that TopBoss was able to obtain this week suggests laying off of several games. That kind of info saves us money, but it don't make us any. So these are the games that get the green light.
Pittsburgh all of a sudden, is healthy again. They go into Arizona, which is pretty much uncharted territory for them. Arizona has had the bye to prepare for the Steelers, but the word is that byes, and all the extra preparation ain't quite payin off for most teams, mainly 'cause the rule is that the players get a mandatory 4 consecutive days off. So while they get the extra rest, they don't really get the extra practice. So TopBoss likes the Steelers here for a couple of reasons. First, they are just the better football team with better coaching and better players at the key positions.Second, Arizona is not going to be prepared for the hurry up offense that the Steelers plan on running this week. Also, the -4 that the Steelers are giving here seems like a bargain that the public hasn't realized yet. The public is seeing this game as a road game for a Steeler team that almost lost to Indy on Monday night a few weeks ago. We're gonna look at them as the Steelers that are now healthy now, hungry, and poised to make a mid-season run.
Green Bay is the next TopBoss pick. Yes Green bay is the road team going into the dome of the Vikes. But we are betting that the rookie QB of the Vikes, who's starting about a year too early, will not be able to pull off the miracle of even playing a good game vs the super-bowl champs who look even better this year. Yes the Vikes have A. Peterson, and he should do very well here. But the Packers know what's up. They will be prepared for the basic, stripped down version, pass off of play action, don't turn the ball over, game plan that every team employs when they first start a rookie QB. A basic plan cannot work if you want to beat these Packers.
Finally, and this one's easy, take Baltimore. Take them now before the public realizes who the Monday night teams are, and then run up this spread beyond playable. Here's the deal, plain and simple: Jacksonville wins only when MJD goes on a tear. Every team that has stopped him has won. Baltimore will dare the rookie Gabbert to pass. Let's bet on that outcome. Baltimore -9.
